Brands
Two marks share the system: buena, the studio, and mrkdwn, the markdown editor. Keep clear space around every mark; use provided files at their original proportions; never recolor, distort, or place on busy backgrounds.
buena
The studio brand: a ring symbol and lowercase “buena” wordmark. In prose, the studio is always Buena Labs — two words, capitalized. Never “buena labs”, “BuenaLabs”, or “Buena” alone.
The kit ships four marks — Icon (B lettermark), Logo (ring + wordmark), Symbol (ring monogram), Wordmark — each in Ivory, Slate, Black, and White, as SVG and PNG (1x, 2x, 3x).
mrkdwn
The cross-platform markdown editor. Always lowercase mrkdwn, set in Buena Mono — even at the start of a sentence. Don't expand it to “Markdown” or camel-case it.
The wordmark is typeset, not drawn: Buena Mono Bold (700), tracking normal. On product surfaces it may carry the accent as a single highlight — one accent, as everywhere else in the system.
